Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo White (ranked 3630 p4p, 2701 weight class) and Chuck Roast (ranked 454 p4p, 353 weight class). The key to victory for Timo White has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Roast! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roast looks to land a right hand but White moved out of range. Roast jabbing away but nothing is landing. White slips a straight right by Roast. White tries to clinch but Roast is having none of it. Roast looks like he wants to counter punch here. Roast looks to throw the jab but White is out of range. White misses with a body shot.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Roast scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Roast looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. White throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White thuds his right hand into Roast's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. White tries to clinch up but Roast circles away and keeps his distance. The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though. White swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Roast.

and White counters with a nice uppercut. Roast circles away from the clinch attempt and Roast counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White closes the distance and clinches. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Roast creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Roast misses with some punches.
White tries to throw a body punch but Roast avoids it by throwing White back against the cage. Roast throws an elbow that misses.

Roast connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between White's hands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That was a close round but I would say that Timo White will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Timo White's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Roast throws a right hand that misses

White closes the distance looking to clinch and Roast counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White moves out of range of the strikes. letting White counter with a right hand. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Roast in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Roast looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roast. Roast throws a hook but White avoids it easily. Roast is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White. Roast throws a jab but it's blocked by White. It looked like White was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Roast. Roast throws a jab when White was well out of range. Roast clobbers White with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jeez, Timo White's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Timo White's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
