Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adhena Olisabed (ranked 4326 p4p, 5405 weight class) and Cho Gath (ranked 526 p4p, 578 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cho Gath!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olisabed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gath tries to avoid it but Olisabed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gath to the ground. Gath escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It seemed like Gath was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gath changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gath lands with a thumping leg kick.

Gath moves into the clinch.
Gath pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Olisabed wants to take the fight to the mat but Gath manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gath stops a takedown attempt from Olisabed.

Gath pushes Olisabed away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Olisabed gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Gath really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olisabed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gath tries to lock up and control but Olisabed gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Olisabed lands a big shot there that rocks Gath but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gath told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gath's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Adhena Olisabed decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
