Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sveinbjorn Brodirsson (ranked 5823 p4p, 5368 weight class) and Logan Paul (ranked 579 p4p, 546 weight class). Sveinbjorn Brodirsson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sveinbjorn Brodirsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Logan Paul! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brodirsson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Brodirsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Paul has wrist control. Brodirsson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brodirsson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Paul works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brodirsson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paul can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul wants to stand but Brodirsson is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Paul lands with a cross. Paul throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brodirsson. Paul throws a combination that misses and Brodirsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brodirsson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Brodirsson stands and throws Paul's legs to the side, diving into side control. Brodirsson controlling from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Paul prevents Brodirsson from improving position. Brodirsson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Paul to his feet. Paul throws a series of punches but Brodirsson avoids them all with ease. Paul looks to land a combination but Brodirsson avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul lands a two punch combo.
Brodirsson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Paul tries to bum rush Brodirsson with a series of wild strikes but Brodirsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Paul looks winded! Brodirsson darts in looking for a takedown but Paul gets double underhooks and turns Brodirsson into the cage. Paul is trying to force a seperation but Brodirsson has the dominant position. Paul wants to get back to striking at distance but Brodirsson won't allow it.
Brodirsson decides to pull guard. Brodirsson trying to control the position here. Brodirsson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brodirsson pulls Paul in close to his closed guard and prevents Paul from doing any damage or advancing position. Brodirsson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brodirsson seems keen to control Paul's posture. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brodirsson dives in and grabs Paul's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paul pushes down on Brodirsson's head and hops out. Paul throws a series of strikes that have Brodirsson backpedaling.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Sveinbjorn Brodirsson has been cut. Paul pushes Brodirsson off looking to stand but Brodirsson dives back in and keeps control.
Brodirsson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Paul defends it well. Paul felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Brodirsson trying to control the pace. Brodirsson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Paul knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul wants to get back to his feet.

Brodirsson seems to be working for a kimura but Paul defends the submission attempt. Brodirsson is taking a breather. Paul says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul tries to kick Brodirsson off in order to stand up. Brodirsson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Sveinbjorn Brodirsson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Paul is being controlled here. Brodirsson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Paul seems a little lost for a moment, as Brodirsson dominates the positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brodirsson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Paul is trying to escape the position but Brodirsson is controlling the position. Paul is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Brodirsson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brodirsson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Paul for as long as he can get away with. Brodirsson stops Paul from getting back to his feet.
Brodirsson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Paul scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Paul throws a right hand that Brodirsson ducks under and follows up with a left that Brodirsson also avoids with ease. Paul throws a right and a left that both miss. Paul rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brodirsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brodirsson. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Brodirsson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paul circles away. Paul unleashes a big counter combination but Brodirsson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Brodirsson shoots in and bounces Paul off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Paul wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brodirsson manages to pass to side control. Paul pushes Brodirsson off but Brodirsson dives into side control.
Brodirsson in side control, just content to control the action for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brodirsson decides to stand back up. Brodirsson steps back and let's Paul get back to his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Brodirsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Paul, which made it look bad. A combination from Paul does no damage. Brodirsson darts in looking for a takedown but Paul gets double underhooks and turns Brodirsson into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sveinbjorn Brodirsson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brodirsson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Brodirsson stays in close to Paul's body and controls the position. Paul keeping full guard, as Brodirsson tries to pass. Brodirsson stands up and waves to Paul to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul lands a jab-cross combination. Brodirsson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brodirsson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Paul tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brodirsson is in Paul's guard. Paul scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Paul lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Paul rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brodirsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brodirsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Paul is looking to get back to is feet but Brodirsson passes into side control.
Brodirsson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Paul will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Paul is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brodirsson controls the position. Paul pushes Brodirsson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Brodirsson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Brodirsson controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Paul is pushing Brodirsson's head away, looking to escape. Brodirsson manages to hold on to the position though. Brodirsson working the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Paul is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brodirsson has just dragged him back down to the mat. A lull in the action here as Brodirsson stalls from top position. Brodirsson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Paul down.
Brodirsson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Paul! Brodirsson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Logan Paul. I think Paul has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
