Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Seagull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Son Islander!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagull throws a predictable looking body shot
and Islander counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Seagull tries to clinch up
and Islander makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Seagull will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seagull fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Islander lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Seagull throws a left and a right that both miss
and Islander counters with a stiff right hand.
Seagull throws a sloppy body shot
and Islander makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Seagull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Islander manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Islander on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Islander as Seagull shoots in.
Seagull throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Islander! But no joy.

Islander keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Seagull.
Islander doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Seagull throws a sloppy body shot
and Islander counters with a straight right hand.
Seagull wants to clinch but Islander slips to the side
and Islander counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Seagull is rocked!
Seagull rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Islander counters with a crisp right that sends Seagull to the canvas! Islander follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Son Islander!
Son Islander was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
