Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Preston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogue Wave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lucas Preston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rogue Wave!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wave decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Preston works his way to full guard. Good work.
Wave would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Wave trying to control the position from guard on top but Preston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Preston escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wave gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Preston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wave can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Preston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wave drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wave jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Preston is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wave can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
