Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Gracie (ranked 2362 p4p, 1586 weight class) and Sergio Sergius (ranked 325 p4p, 234 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chuck Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergio Sergius!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sergius but Sergius pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sergius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Sergius.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Sergius shows good takedown defense.
Gracie walks into a jab.

It looks like Chuck Gracie has been cut.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Sergius.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sergius as he jumps to the side.

Sergius moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A left hand lands to the body for Sergius.
Sergius comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Sergius manages to break the clinch.

Sergius clinches with his opponent.

Sergius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Sergius counter with a right hand.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sergius moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sergius works on Gracie's body with a couple of short punches.
Gracie is looking to take this one to the mat.
Gracie letting Sergius take a breather here.
Sergius lands a nice elbow.
Sergius lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Chuck Gracie's cut is getting worse.
A left hand lands to the body for Sergius.

Sergius drops Gracie with a big knee straight up the middle! Gracie is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Sergius.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sergius rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sergius lands a vicious elbow to the side of Gracie's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Sergius tries to finish him with strikes but Gracie still seems able to defend himself so Sergius steps back and lets Gracie get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Chuck Gracie's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Sergius drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
Sergius throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gracies head.
Sergius has Gracie pressed against the cage. He pushes Gracie back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Sergius throws a beautiful elbow that sends Gracie crashing to the floor! Sergius piles on the pressure with more strikes! Gracie is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergio Sergius!
After the fight, Sergio Sergius was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
