The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia tries for a takedown but Falante circles away easily
and Falante connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck for Maia with that takedown attempt.
Falante looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Maia takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maia drives through with a takedown into Falante's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
