Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ylli Kovaci (ranked 2726 p4p, 4294 weight class) and Willis Smith (ranked 346 p4p, 512 weight class). Kovaci kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Morfina Ft. Ardit - Krateri. Willis Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovaci wants to clinch.
Smith swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Kovaci ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Kovaci definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kovaci tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance.
Kovaci's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kovaci scrambles back to his feet.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kovaci with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smith to score with a decent uppercut.

Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kovaci stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kovaci circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Smith drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kovaci follows Smith to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Ylli Kovaci thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
