The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love misses with a leg kick.
McQuire is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Love's half guard.
Love is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Love is trying to maintain the position but McQuire is very close to passing his half guard.
Love slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
McQuire tries to free his leg and advance position but Love is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
