Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nucombe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boing Missalot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nucombe cracks Missalot with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nucombe stuffs the takedown.
Missalot walks into a jab.

Missalot closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nucombe quickly recovers to half guard.
Missalot is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nucombe manages to get to full guard.
Missalot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Missalot is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nucombe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nucombe has escaped and now he's on top!

Missalot is working an open guard so Nucombe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Missalot shoots in and drives through. Nucombe sprawls well.
Missalot moves in looking to clinch but Nucombe pushes him off.
Missalot takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Missalot walks into a stiff left hand from Nucombe.
Missalot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nucombe's waist but Nucombe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Missalot off to one side.
Neil Nucombe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boing Missalot.
Missalot looks for a takedown but Nucombe sprawls well.
Nucombe tries to counter by clinching up but Missalot breaks away and moves out of range.
Missalot looks winded!
Nucombe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Missalot on the side of the head.

Missalot is rocked!
Nucombe measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Missalot! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
