Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean Dash (ranked 700 p4p, 1250 weight class) and Pate Hunt (ranked 42 p4p, 67 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Dash! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pate Hunt! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dash throws out the jab. Hunt swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Dash cracks Hunt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dash misses with a left hand and Hunt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dash thinking. Dash jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hunt tries to counter with a clinch but Dash shakes him off and moves away. Hunt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dash.
Dash throws a big shot that misses. Hunt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hunt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Dash misses with an uppercut
and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut. Hunt jabbing away but nothing is landing. It looked like Dash wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Some wild striking there from Dash.
A big right from Dash misses. Hunt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab from Dash misses. Hunt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hunt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dash.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dash throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Hunt counter with a right hand. Dash misses with an uppercut. Hunt saw that one coming. Sean Dash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice defenses there by Dash. Hunt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Hunt counters with an inside leg kick. Hunt moves into the clinch. Hunt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dash backwards. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hunt. Hunt has Dash pressed against the cage, preventing Dash from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hunt lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Hunt.
Dash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dash tries to break free but Hunt pushes him back against the cage. Dash working hard to break the clinch. Hunt stalling.
Hunt controlling the action here for a moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hunt keeps control of Dash as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dash wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hunt has him pressed against the cage. Dash is trying to break the clinch but Hunt has him pressed against the cage. Dash wants to break free but Hunt has control.

Hunt instigates a clinch. Dash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hunt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dash wants to break free but Hunt has control.
Hunt working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hunt lands with a left to the head. Hunt lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Dash working hard to break the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hunt. Hunt cracks Dash with a nice body shot. Dash tries to break the clinch but Hunt is controlling the position. Dash wants to get back to striking at distance but Hunt won't allow it.
Hunt stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Hunt scores with a hook to the body. A short left from Hunt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunt lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dash is rocked! Hunt lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Oh Dash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hunt has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Dash seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hunt can turn it around. Hunt lands a left hand.
Hunt makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt lands a body punch in the clinch. Hunt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dash. Hunt avoiding damage.
Hunt lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hunt lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dash or not. Hunt creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dash with a big uppercut! Dash tries to clinch up but Hunt pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dash to the mat! Dash covers up and Hunt unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pate Hunt! Pate Hunt is the new bantamweight champion!
