Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adam Sandler! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boston circles away. Boston gets the takedown into side control. Boston tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sandler gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandler tries to hold on but Boston postures up. Sandler blocking the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Boston looking to finish with strikes here!

Sandler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Boston Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sandler's back instead. Boston is persistently looking for the submission but Sandler is defending it well.
Sandler tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Sandler tries to hold on but Boston pushes him away. Sandler is desperately trying to improve his position but Boston has a good base and remains in mount. Sandler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sandler wants to improve his position but Boston is controlling well.

Nero Boston dominated that round. That's time! Boston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sandler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boston shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sandler slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Boston is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Boston with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sandler manages to regain half guard. Good work. Sandler makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sandler. Boston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sandler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boston manages to get himself to full guard.
Sandler tries to free his leg and advance position but Boston is retaining full guard. Sandler pushes down on Boston's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sandler winds up and cracks Boston with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boston is pressing down on Sandler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sandler slips nicely into half guard. Sandler is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boston is refusing to be controlled, as Sandler sits in half guard. Sandler is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Boston is working to get back to half guard.

Sandler is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sandler struggling a bit here. Boston tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boston has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sandler manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sandler gets back to full guard.

Boston works his way back into a safe position though. Boston is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sandler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sandler has escaped and now he's on top! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boston keeping moving, preventing Sandler from controlling successfully. Boston keeping full guard, as Sandler tries to pass. Boston wants to sweep here but Sandler controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sandler is sitting in close to Boston's body. Boston has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sandler is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sandler is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Boston.
