Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Frost (ranked 1288 p4p, 3283 weight class) and Hemmo Partanen (ranked 200 p4p, 451 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darren Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hemmo Partanen! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partanen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Partanen misses with a hook
and Frost counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Partanen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Frost definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Frost looks to land a left hand but Partanen moved out of range nicely. Partanen takes a swing at Frost's ribcage but misses. Frost throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Frost swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Partanen throws a lazy uppercut
and Frost counters with a nice uppercut. Frost bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Frost cracks Partanen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Frost throws a shot from downtown. Partanen moves away and avoids it. Partanen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Frost throws an off balance right hand
and Partanen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Darren Frost has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frost slips under a jab from Partanen. Frost closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Frost shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Frost moves into the clinch successfully.
Partanen tries to break the clinch but Frost is controlling the position. Partanen is trying to force a seperation but Frost has the dominant position. Frost tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Partanen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

It looks like Hemmo Partanen has been cut. Frost using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Frost misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Frost working Partanen over with knees to the body. Partanen takes a shot to the head. Frost lands with a short head shot on the inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Partanen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Partanen tries to stall but Frost uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost has a couple of punches blocked by Partanen.
A frustrated look appears on Partanen's face as he tries to break the clinch. Partanen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Frost misses with a punch to the body.
Frost landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Partanen swings wildly with an uppercut but Frost uses good head movement to avoid it. Partanen has had enough of the clinch but Frost keeps him there for the moment. Frost throws a knee to the head but misses.

Frost lands a right hand that snaps the head of Partanen backwards. Partanen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Frost stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Frost tries to land a knee to the head but Partanen blocks with his arms.
Partanen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Frost has Partanen pressed against the cage, preventing Partanen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Frost scores with an uppercut up the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost lands with a light punch inside. Still in the clinch, Frost scores with a nice short uppercut. Frost prevents Partanen from breaking the clinch. Frost keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Partanen's efforts to push away. Frost working Partanen over with knees to the body. Partanen is trying to break the clinch but Frost is controlling him. Frost lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Partanen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Frost scores with a nice hook to the head. Partanen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Frost throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Partanen blocks it with crossed arms. Partanen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch on the inside from Frost fails to land. Partanen blocks a body shot from Frost. Frost with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Partanen is rocked! Frost misses with a punch on the inside.
Partanen is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him? Frost lands a left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Partanen blocks a body shot from Frost. Frost jerks Partanen's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Partanen drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Frost goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Frost because Partanen was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
