The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abreu misses with a hook. Vollan ducked under it nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vollan. Abreu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vollan blocks a jab.
Nice jab there from Vollan.
Abreu throws out a loose jab but Vollan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Abreu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Abreu swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Vollan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Abreu! Vollan lets Abreu back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Abreu is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vollan Throws a clean left jab. Vollan Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Abreu's chin! Abreu crumbles to the ground and Vollan follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Vollan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Havardr Vollan!
