Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 19064 p4p, 25240 weight class) and Bingo Banjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krzysztof Zakrzewski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bingo Banjo!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zakrzewski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

and Banjo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Banjo thows a huge punch but Zakrzewski dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Banjo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Banjo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zakrzewski defends it well.

Banjo seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Banjo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Zakrzewski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Banjo scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like Banjo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Banjo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Banjo is looking for a kimura but Zakrzewski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Banjo to get the leverage.
Banjo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Banjo is trying to control. Zakrzewski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Banjo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zakrzewski on his heels. He'll look to pass Zakrzewski's guard now, I'm sure.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Banjo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Bingo Banjo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Banjo is stalling here. Zakrzewski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Banjo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Zakrzewski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Bingo Banjo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Banjo is pushing Zakrzewski's head away, looking to escape. Zakrzewski manages to hold on to the position though.

Bingo Banjo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Banjo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
