Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ian Gary Ii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gregory Grouper!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gary Ii moves in looking to clinch but Grouper pushes him off.
Grouper is looking for the big counter here.
Gary Ii shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Grouper defends it nicely.
Grouper is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Gary Ii fails with a takedown attempt.
Grouper let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Grouper avoids the body shot from Gary Ii.
Grouper changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gary Ii shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Grouper counters by clinching up.

Gary Ii jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grouper walks away with a smile on his face. Gary Ii gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gary Ii lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grouper circles away quickly and effectively.
Grouper doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Gary Ii misses with a takedown
and Grouper moves into the clinch.
Gary Ii breaks the clinch.
Gary Ii tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grouper paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Grouper throws out a counter right but Gary Ii avoids it with no problem.
Grouper stuffs the takedown attempt from Gary Ii. Gary Ii gets slowly back to his feet.
Grouper swats away the attempt to clinch by Gary Ii.

Grouper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Grouper looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gary Ii is breathing heavily.
Gary Ii gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Grouper counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Grouper quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gary Ii has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Grouper celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
