Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Holey (ranked 20761 p4p, 23788 weight class) and Alak Mouskal (ranked 582 p4p, 606 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Holey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alak Mouskal! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mouskal cracks Holey with an open hand slap. Mouskal throws an overhand right that lands on Holey's shoulder, as Holey tries to avoid the shot. Holey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Holey throws a nice looking combination but Mouskal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mouskal!
Mouskal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Holey avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Holey shoots in looking for a takedown but Mouskal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mouskal gets tackled into the cage by Holey. Holey maintains the clinch. Holey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mouskal gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Holey.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Holey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holey keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mouskal's efforts to push away. Holey wants a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holey slowing the pace effectively. Holey jumps guard but Mouskal stands there with Holey around his waist. Holey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holey is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mouskal to keep the fight standing. Holey manages to break the clinch.
Mouskal throws a series of punches but Holey moves out of range. Mouskal throws a nice looking combination but Holey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Holey. Mouskal scores with a sloppy right hand. Holey should have avoided that one. Alak Mouskal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Holey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Holey needs to keep his hands up - Mouskal had a free shot at his head there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Mouskal misses with a two punch combination.
Mouskal scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mouskal has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mouskal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mouskal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Holey sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mouskal cracks Holey with an open hand slap. Mouskal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mouskal takes a swing at Holey's ribcage but misses. Holey clinches. Mouskal on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Holey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mouskal walks into a stiff left hand from Holey. Mouskal lands with an uppercut that bounces Holey off the cage and back into range. Holey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mouskal throws a hook to the side of Holey's head but Holey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Holey shoots in for a takedown but Mouskal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mouskal looks to throw the jab but Holey is out of range. Holey moves into range and clinches up with Mouskal. Holey swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Holey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mouskal just stands there and leans against the cage. Holey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mouskal after a bit of a struggle. Holey tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Mouskal escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mouskal tries to bum rush Holey with a series of wild strikes but Holey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mouskal connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Holey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mouskal swivels and escapes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mouskal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Holey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mouskal on his heels. He'll look to pass Mouskal's guard now, I'm sure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Holey's corner is telling him to maintain position. Holey trying to control the position from guard on top but Mouskal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Holey stands up and waves to Mouskal to follow him. Nice uppercut there from Mouskal. Mouskal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mouskal slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Mouskal stuffs the takedown attempt from Holey. Holey gets slowly back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alak Mouskal dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Holey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mouskal to the ground. Holey is now in Mouskal's guard. Mouskal is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Holey dives into side control.
Mouskal avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Holey. Holey trying to control the position but Mouskal is working away. Holey throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holey is looking to take a break and control but Mouskal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Holey decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mouskal to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mouskal swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mouskal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mouskal sizes up Holey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mouskal throws a hook but Holey avoids it easily. Holey slips under a jab from Mouskal. Holey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Mouskal connects with a single shot there. Alak Mouskal seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mouskal misses with a looping left. Holey tries to counter with a takedown but Mouskal is quick to defend against it. Mouskal loads up on a big right hand but Holey slips the punch. Holey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mouskal throws out the jab. Mouskal paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Holey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mouskal's waist but Mouskal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Holey off to one side. Mouskal gets tackled into the cage by Holey. Holey maintains the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Holey takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Holey has Mouskal pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mouskal manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Holey closes the distance and clinches. Mouskal wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

and Holey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Holey. Mouskal manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Mouskal controlling the position. Holey is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Holey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mouskal swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alak Mouskal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Holey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Holey tries a head kick but it misses.
Mouskal throws out a counter right but Holey avoids it with no problem. Mouskal misses with a two punch combination.

Holey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mouskal avoids it really well and circles away. Holey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters circle momentarily. Mouskal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Holey tries to clinch up. Holey moves out of range of the strikes.

Mouskal manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Holey slows down the pace here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Holey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Holey tries to close the distance and clinch but Mouskal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Holey defending well as Mouskal loads up on a big left hand. Holey lands a two punch combo.

and Holey counters with a thumping low kick. Holey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mouskal jabs Holey right on the nose. Holey blinks but takes it well. Mouskal cracks Holey with a right hand to the side of the head.
Holey is rocked! Mouskal scores with a punch to the head. Oh Holey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Holey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mouskal throws out the jab. Holey seems to have got his legs back now. Mouskal gets caught napping as Holey dives in and scores a takedown. Mouskal manages to retain guard. Mouskal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holey wants to pass the guard but Mouskal is keeping the position. Holey wants to control from the top but Mouskal keeps moving. Mouskal is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Holey trying to control but Mouskal is working from the bottom. Holey stands and throws Mouskal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Alak Mouskal comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mouskal winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
