Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Summers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You're Going Down. Chen Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chen Lee!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lee tries to pass to full mount but Summers defends it.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lee lands a nice short elbow.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Summers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Summers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Lee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lee cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Summers is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action.

Lee fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Chen Lee dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Lee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Summers.
Summers shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.

Summers tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Summers is trying to stall.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Summers is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Lee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Summers wants to get back to his feet but Lee drags him back down.
A lull in the action here as Lee stalls from top position.

Lee decides to stand back up.
Summers shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Summers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lee fails with the takedown.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lee gets the takedown into side control.
Lee in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Summers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Summers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Summers is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lee's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Summers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.

Chen Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
