Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Graves (ranked 639 p4p, 1034 weight class) and Bruce White Jr (ranked 90 p4p, 135 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernest Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruce White Jr! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves looks to score with a jab to the body but White Jr is just out of range. White Jr swings widly with a right hand
and Graves counters with a lovely shot to the body. Graves swings and misses with a hook to the body.
White Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Graves.
White Jr scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Graves steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from White Jr. That one must have hurt. Graves gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows White Jr to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White Jr wants to control from the top but Graves keeps moving. Graves is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Graves tries to pass the half guard into mount. White Jr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. White Jr is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves trying to control the action but White Jr is working from the bottom. White Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Graves pulls his head out easily. White Jr tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. White Jr actively working from the bottom here. Graves passes the guard and advances to mount! Graves is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Graves can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White Jr is looking to escape. Graves lands a nice shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graves raining down hammerfists from mount. We've been hearing that Graves has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Graves has hold of White Jr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and White Jr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Graves working White Jr over with strikes here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White Jr is squirming around, avoiding Graves's attempts to control the action. White Jr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Graves has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. White Jr is trying desperately to improve position. Graves avoids the attempt from White Jr to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graves postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. White Jr looks a forlorn figure.
White Jr is rocked! Graves drops a big elbow. That's hurt White Jr! More shots from Graves and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernest Graves! After winning the bout, Ernest Graves thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Bruce White Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back!'.
