Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vino Selvatico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Grubbs!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, John Mangel and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selvatico takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Grubbs misses with a looping right.
Selvatico looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Selvatico scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Grubbs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Selvatico.
Selvatico takes one to the side of the head.
Selvatico uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Grubbs.
Grubbs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Grubbs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Selvatico moves away.
Grubbs throws a lazy uppercut
and Selvatico counters with a nice body kick.
Selvatico staying out of range there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Selvatico. That's going to slow Grubbs down.
Grubbs bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Selvatico's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Selvatico with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Grubbs to score with a decent uppercut.
Grubbs looks to score with a jab to the body but Selvatico is just out of range.
Grubbs missing with a left hand there. Selvatico was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Grubbs throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grubbs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Selvatico - the referee stops the clock and Grubbs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Selvatico. Grubbs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Edward Grubbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grubbs misses with an uppercut. Selvatico saw that one coming.
Selvatico goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Selvatico scores with a decent looking hook.
Grubbs looks to score with a jab to the body but Selvatico is just out of range.
We've been told by Selvatico's head coaches at Ryōzanpaku Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Grubbs lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Selvatico backs up against the cage.
Grubbs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Selvatico looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Grubbs misses with a hook
and Selvatico connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Grubbs is rocked!
Selvatico lands with a kick to the ribs.

Grubbs misses with a wild body shot.
Grubbs throws a looping overhand right but Selvatico ducks down to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
