Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gauthier Delsarte (ranked 550 p4p, 802 weight class) and Maxim Menshikov (ranked 12 p4p, 22 weight class). Delsarte comes to the cage accompanied by Ah Non Cest Terrible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Delsarte finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Maxim Menshikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Delsarte shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Gauthier Delsarte has been cut.
Menshikov misses with a double jab.
We've been informed that Menshikov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Delsarte connects with an inside leg kick.
Delsarte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Delsarte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Delsarte dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Menshikov. That did some damage!

Menshikov looks to land a left hand but Delsarte moved out of range nicely.

Menshikov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Delsarte.

Delsarte darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Menshikov lands with a nice body punch.

Menshikov drops Delsarte with a beautiful combination! Delsarte stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Menshikov is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Delsarte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Menshikov cracks Delsarte with a hook to the temple - Delsarte is on wobbly legs here! Menshikov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Delsarte falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Menshikov wins by TKO!
