Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tj Pen (ranked 4326 p4p, 5281 weight class) and Jhonny Lait (ranked 87 p4p, 92 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lait throws a series of punches but Pen avoids them all with ease.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lait with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Tj Pen will probably get the nod.

Pen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lait looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lait looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lait!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lait has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pen is working away from the top position though.

Lait tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lait somewhat.

Pen tries to lock up and control but Lait gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Lait stalling away here and it's allowed Pen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
