Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bong (ranked 6603 p4p, 25084 weight class) and Chad Yonic (ranked 206 p4p, 129 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Bong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chad Yonic!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonic tries for a takedown but Bong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Yonic looks to land a body kick but Bong moved away.
Yonic throws a right hand that Bong ducks under and follows up with a left that Bong also avoids with ease.
Bong attempts a counter takedown but Yonic avoids it well and moves away.
Yonic tries for a takedown but Bong circles away easily
and Bong counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bong.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Yonic is trying to pull guard but Bong turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yonic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bong avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Yonic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yonic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yonic somewhat.
Yonic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bong.
Yonic should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Yonic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bong avoids it really well and circles away.

Bong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yonic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yonic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bong wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Bong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bong shoots in looking for a takedown but Yonic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Yonic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Yonic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bong walks away with a smile on his face. Yonic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Bong counters with a left to the body.
Yonic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Yonic avoids a kick to the body.
Yonic tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bong counters with a crisp one two that drops Yonic! Bong thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Yonic to his feet! Yonic is in big trouble!
Yonic is rocked!
Bong catches Yonic with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Yonic forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
