Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Brawler (ranked 4652 p4p, 4661 weight class) and Rasul Boqiev (ranked 0 p4p, 542 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Brawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rasul Boqiev! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Boqiev does no damage. Brawler clinches. Boqiev is trying to break the clinch but Brawler has him pressed against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Boqiev. Brawler slowing the pace effectively. Brawler working aggressively here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brawler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Brawler has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Boqiev is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right hand to the side of the head by Brawler.
It looks like Rasul Boqiev has been cut. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Boqiev lands a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boqiev avoids the elbow strike from Brawler, against the cage.
Brawler has clasped his hands together around Boqiev's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. A lull in the action here. Brawler landing a few strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boqiev is looking to get back to his feet here but Brawler is keeping cool and he's managed to take Boqiev's back. Brawler just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Boqiev is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Brawler sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Boqiev has no choice but to tap and Brawler jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bobby Brawler!
