Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Cash (ranked 1714 p4p, 2171 weight class) and Jim Johnathan (ranked 252 p4p, 299 weight class). Cash comes into the arena with Head Bussa - Lil Scrappy ft. Lil John blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Victor Cash has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Cash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jim Johnathan! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Johnathan. Cash throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnathan. Johnathan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cash as he avoids it easily. Johnathan shoots in but no luck this time. Cash gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnathan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cash is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Cash gets underhooks to prevent Johnathan's takedown attempt.
Victor Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Johnathan. Cash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Johnathan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnathan. Nice takedown defense from Cash. No joy for Johnathan on that attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Cash clobbers Johnathan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Johnathan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cash avoids it really well and circles away. Johnathan fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnathan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Johnathan prevents Cash from getting back to his feet. Johnathan with a flurry of punches that miss. Cash wants to get back to his feet but Johnathan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Johnathan is looking to work some ground and pound but Cash has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cash is looking to stand up but Johnathan isn't so interested in that idea. Cash kicks Johnathan off and gets to his feet. Cash leaves Johnathan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Johnathan slips under a jab. Johnathan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cash pinned against the cage. Cash gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cash pushes Johnathan off and scrambles back to his feet.

Johnathan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Johnathan throwing shots but Cash is blocking nicely. Cash has one foot on Johnathan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Johnathan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cash circles away. Cash is looking to counter punch. Johnathan looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cash is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Johnathan presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Cash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Cash. No joy for Johnathan on that attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash misses with a hook. Johnathan ducked under it nicely. Johnathan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnathan somewhat. Johnathan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cash defends well and Johnathan ends up having to push Cash into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Cash gets tackled into the cage by Johnathan. Johnathan maintains the clinch. Cash breaks from the clinch.
Cash connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnathan's hands. Cash tries to sprawl but Johnathan drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cash tries to kick Johnathan off but Johnathan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cash makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Johnathan looking to score a takedown here. Cash is defending well but Johnathan drives through and ends up in Cash's guard. Cash wants to stand and escape but Johnathan is having none of it. Cash has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Johnathan is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnathan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cash prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnathan won't allow it.
Cash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A big right from Cash misses. Jab from Cash. Johnathan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cash scores with a counter punch that sends Johnathan to the canvas! Cash smells blood - he's punishing Johnathan with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Johnathan has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Cash! Victor Cash spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
