Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Oetztuerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Why can`t we be friend - Smash Mouth. Marcel Oetztuerk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nicholas Castle's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicholas Castle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcel Oetztuerk! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Oetztuerk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oetztuerk. Oetztuerk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Castle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oetztuerk is proving hard to escape from. Oetztuerk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oetztuerk keeping full guard, as Castle tries to pass. Castle looking to sit in guard and control but Oetztuerk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Oetztuerk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Oetztuerk postures up in Castle's guard and throws a big left but Castle blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oetztuerk is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Castle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Castle has escaped and now he's on top! Castle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Oetztuerk's guard. Oetztuerk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Castle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Oetztuerk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Castle's back instead. Castle tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Oetztuerk looks gassed! Oetztuerk lands a big elbow. Oetztuerk manages to capitalize on a mistake by Castle to take his back! Oetztuerk patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Castle tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Castle is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Castle really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Oetztuerk jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Castle manages to avoid the submission attempt. Castle is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Castle wants to improve his position but Oetztuerk is controlling well.
Oetztuerk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Castle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Castle is rocked! Oetztuerk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Castle defends it well. Oh Castle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oetztuerk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oetztuerk is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Oetztuerk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Castle can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Oetztuerk goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Castle is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle preventing the sweep. Castle seems to have got his legs back now. Castle forces his way into half guard. Oetztuerk tries to roll over but Castle keeps him under control. Oetztuerk pushes Castle off looking to stand but Castle dives back in and keeps control.

Oetztuerk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oetztuerk. Oetztuerk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Castle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Castle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oetztuerk tries to land a sweep but no joy. Oetztuerk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Oetztuerk gets his hands free as Castle looks to control. Castle holding both Oetztuerk 's hands and preventing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Castle manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Castle shoots in for a double leg but Oetztuerk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcel Oetztuerk dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Oetztuerk fails with the takedown and Castle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Oetztuerk! Castle is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Oetztuerk has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Castle trying to control but Oetztuerk is having none of it. Castle moves to the back. Castle softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Castle looking for the RNC. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Castle looking to break Oetztuerk's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Oetztuerk remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Castle will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Oetztuerk is breathing heavily. Castle looking for the choke from the back. Oetztuerk is trying to break free.
Castle working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Oetztuerk is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Castle has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Oetztuerk taps out!
