And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Ivanok!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ivanok gets caught napping as Slaughter dives in and scores a takedown. Ivanok manages to retain guard.
Ivanok looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ivanok wants to stand up but Slaughter is controlling him.

Slaughter drops back looking for a leg! Ivanok is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ivanok manages to kick Slaughter off! Slaughter jumps back into Ivanok's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slaughter's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ivanok is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slaughter is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slaughter passes Ivanok's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Slaughter slows the pace down in half guard.
Slaughter is trying to control the action in half guard but Ivanok is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Slaughter seems to be working for a kimura but Ivanok defends the submission attempt.

Slaughter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Slaughter is trying to control. Ivanok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Slaughter maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ivanok could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Slaughter has cracked it and Ivanok is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Slaughter!
