Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shang Tsung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and math scolar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsung comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat Theme Remix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
scolar looks to score with a jab to the body but Tsung is just out of range.
Tsung scores with a sloppy right hand. scolar should have avoided that one.
scolar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tsung with a jab.
scolar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tsung in his tracks.
scolar throws an off balance right hand
and Tsung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
scolar misses with a double jab
and Tsung counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. scolar is lucky that one didn't land flush.
scolar is rocked!
Tsung throws out a loose jab but scolar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tsung forces scolar back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tsung gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Tsung is trying to stall.
scolar has Tsung pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tsung manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tsung crunches a lovely knee into scolar's ribcage.
Tsung is fighting off a takedown attempt but scolar is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tsung to the mat. Tsung regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

scolar wanted to stand there but Tsung had control of the position.
Tsung working a defensive guard but scolar passes into half guard.
Tsung wants to control but scolar is keeping busy and won't allow it.
scolar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tsung manages to get to full guard.
scolar stopping the sweep attempt from Tsung.
Tsung is trying to keep scolar in close.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
scolar won't allow Tsung to sweep him here.
Tsung has a closed guard, preventing scolar from standing up.
Tsung working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because scolar has passed into half guard!
scolar gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

scolar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
scolar stuffs the takedown.
scolar misses with an uppercut
and scolar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tsung wants to clinch up but scolar keeps it at a distance.
Tsung getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nice sprawl there from scolar as Tsung shoots in.
Tsung pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tsung is breathing heavily.
scolar throws a series of strikes that have Tsung backpedaling.

and Tsung counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. scolar is lucky that one didn't land flush.
scolar loads up on a big right hand but Tsung slips the punch.
Tsung throws a solid leg kick but scolar takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tsung.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tsung throws a body kick that misses.
Tsung tries to close the distance and clinch up but scolar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
scolar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tsung throws a right hand that misses
and scolar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tsung is rocked!
Tsung pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Tsung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
scolar swats away the attempt to clinch by Tsung.
scolar sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Tsung's defenses. It connects perfectly with Tsung's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
