The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchest dives in for a single leg takedown but Baneen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Manchest tries to keep at a distance but Baneen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Baneen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Manchest stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baneen.
Baneen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manchest sprawls well initially but Baneen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baneen wants to work for an arm triangle but Manchest is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
