Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Puyah Mamouhdi (ranked 3637 p4p, 5298 weight class) and Edda Wees (ranked 470 p4p, 581 weight class). Wees is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by “Vroom” by The FaNaTiX. Puyah Mamouhdi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Puyah Mamouhdi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edda Wees!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wees rushes Mamouhdi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wees avoids a wild elbow strike from Mamouhdi.
Mamouhdi keeps control of Wees as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mamouhdi has a couple of punches blocked by Wees.
Wees's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mamouhdi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mamouhdi misses with a double jab.
Mamouhdi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wees dodges the punch combination from Mamouhdi.
Mamouhdi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wees tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mamouhdi is in Wees's guard.
Mamouhdi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wees is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mamouhdi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mamouhdi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mamouhdi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Wees manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mamouhdi manages to get himself to full guard.
Mamouhdi has control of Wees's left arm, preventing Wees from doing any damage.
Mamouhdi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Mamouhdi is looking for a triangle here but Wees uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Mamouhdi dodges the ground and pound from Wees.
Mamouhdi struggling a bit here.
I wouldn't like to be where Mamouhdi is right now.
Mamouhdi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wees decides to stand back up. Wees steps back and let's Mamouhdi get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mamouhdi tries to close the distance and clinch but Wees swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mamouhdi lands with a cross.
Wees darts in looking for a takedown but Mamouhdi gets double underhooks and turns Wees into the cage.
Wees closes the distance and clinches.
Mamouhdi blocks a body shot from Wees.
Mamouhdi scores with a nice hook to the head.
Mamouhdi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Mamouhdi cracks Wees with a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mamouhdi working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mamouhdi is working Wees over with some ground and pound from side control.
Wees is rocked!
Mamouhdi in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Wees looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Mamouhdi turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

In defeat, Edda Wees stepped up to the mic, saying 'Im sorry to the fans and my sponsor, I wanted to put on a great show and get the win but tonight wasn't my night, congrats to my opponent he's a real fighter.'.
