The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chas looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Chas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gomez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chas throws a series of punches but Gomez avoids them all with ease.
Chas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gomez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chas shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Chas tries to land a front kick but Gomez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gomez checks a low kick from Chas.
Chas throws a head kick but Gomez moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Chas.
Gomez jabs Chas right on the nose. Chas blinks but takes it well.
Chas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gomez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Chas really felt that one!
Gomez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gomez fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gomez misses with a few strikes there.
Gomez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chas doesn't seem bothered though.
Chas wants to land a leg kick but Gomez is out of range.

Chas moves into the clinch successfully.
Chas's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gomez lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chas backwards.

Chas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gomez.

Gomez sends Chas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gomez is motioning to the referee to let Chas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Gomez counters with a body kick.
Chas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Chas seems to have got his legs back now.
A clash of legs there as Chas blocks the low kick.
Chas fires out a quick counter leg kick but Gomez just manages to avoid it.
Chas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gomez.

Reza Chas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chas clinches up with Gomez and pushes him back against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Gomez.
Chas lands a damaging elbow.
Gomez lands a body punch in the clinch.
Chas missing with knees to the body.
Gomez stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Chas tries to land a knee to the head but Gomez blocks with his arms.

Chas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Gomez connects with an inside leg kick.
Good work by Gomez as he checks the leg kick.
Chas tries a head kick but it misses.
Chas is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Gomez just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Chas has gone limp and this one is over!
