Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Lu (ranked 4417 p4p, 4595 weight class) and Raffaele Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raffaele Esposito is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raffaele Esposito!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu looks to land a combination but Esposito avoids it well.
Esposito has closed the distance and engaged Lu in a clinch.

Lu's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lu wants to sweep but no luck.
Esposito tries to free his leg and advance position but Lu is retaining full guard.

Esposito throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lu's waist but Lu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Esposito off to one side.

Lu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Esposito wants to control but Lu is having none of it.

Wilson Lu showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
