Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lepuc (ranked 4637 p4p, 5726 weight class) and Harold Hogfish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Lepuc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Hogfish!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hogfish looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hogfish dives in for a single leg takedown but Lepuc sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hogfish is looking to clinch but Lepuc is avoiding it.
A slow jab from Lepuc misses its intended target.
Lepuc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hogfish moves away.
Lepuc throws a series of punches but Hogfish moves out of range.
Hogfish shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hogfish scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lepuc doesn't seem bothered though.
Lepuc throws a body shot but no joy.
Lepuc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lepuc smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lepuc throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hogfish throws a head kick that misses.
Hogfish looks winded!
Lepuc scores with the left hand. Hogfish knows he should have avoided that one.
Hogfish dives in and grabs Lepuc's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lepuc pushes down on Hogfish's head and hops out.
Joe Lepuc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold Hogfish.
Lepuc swings for the body but Hogfish moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lepuc looks to score with a jab to the body but Hogfish is just out of range.
Lepuc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hogfish moves away.
Hogfish feints the counter takedown.
Hogfish throws a leg kick but Lepuc checks it.
Lepuc tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hogfish was well out of range. Poor timing from Lepuc.
Lepuc changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lepuc is looking to wear down Hogfish with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lepuc throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hogfish has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hogfish keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lepuc.
Hogfish wants to counter the offense by Lepuc and move into the clinch position.
Lepuc will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hogfish with the counter takedown but Lepuc avoids it easily.
Lepuc looks to score with a jab to the body but Hogfish is just out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hogfish.
Lepuc swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lepuc swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hogfish counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lepuc lands a left and a right that send Hogfish crashing to the mat, dazed. Lepuc thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hogfish is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lepuc circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hogfish to the canvas! Hogfish doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lepuc keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Lepuc!
