Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Island Boy (ranked 4274 p4p, 3151 weight class) and Mun Soon (ranked 508 p4p, 390 weight class). Boy comes into the arena with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIWSEa5U9_U blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mun Soon!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Boy.
Soon misses with a double jab.
Boy appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Soon dodges the punch combination from Boy.
Soon looks to score with a jab to the body but Boy is just out of range.

Soon swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
Boy misses with an uppercut. Soon saw that one coming.

Boy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Boy throws a looping overhand right but Soon ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Soon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Soon throws a body punch but Boy moves out of range.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Soon enables Boy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Soon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Soon wants to get back to his feet but Boy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Soon is trying to get back to half guard.
Boy gets to mount! Soon was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
You get the feeling that Soon really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Soon is trying to escape the mount.

Soon is in a horrible position here. Boy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soon is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Soon really wants to buck Boy off and get back to his feet.

A big strike lands for Boy! That's really hurt Soon and he's turned his back - Boy keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Boy jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Island Boy!
In his post fight interview, Island Boy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
