Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pat Poutine (ranked 6352 p4p, 18832 weight class) and Tigran Minasian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Poutine looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pat Poutine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tigran Minasian!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minasian closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Poutine looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Minasian is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Poutine gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Minasian turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Minasian just content to control the position.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Minasian working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Minasian's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Minasian moves into full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Minasian is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Poutine is forced to tap! Great finish!
