Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuele Oren!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oren shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bishop but Bishop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bishop swats away the attempt to clinch by Oren.
Oren pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oren gets caught flat footed, as Bishop shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bishop trying to control but Oren is working from the bottom.
Bishop throws a big right hand that misses.
Oren throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Oren keeping moving, preventing Bishop from controlling successfully.
Bishop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bishop is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Oren is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bishop prevents Oren from getting back to his feet.
Bishop trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bishop trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bishop clinches up against the ropes.
Bishop escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oren fails to land the takedown.
Oren throws a sloppy head kick and Bishop moves out of range easily.
Bishop lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Oren can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Bishop and Oren drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Bishop.
