Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Gruff (ranked 2691 p4p, 2747 weight class) and Sey La Vie (ranked 95 p4p, 97 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Gruff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sey La Vie!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Gruff misses.
Gruff seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
La Vie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gruff.
La Vie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gruff.
It looks like Sey La Vie has been cut.
Gruff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but La Vie circles away quickly and effectively.
La Vie unleashes a big counter combination but Gruff bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Gruff throws a looping overhand right but La Vie ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bone on bone clash there as La Vie blocks the leg kick.
A countering left hand to the body from La Vie misses.
Gruff fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but La Vie is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from La Vie! But no joy.
Gruff lands with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gruff throws a hook to the side of La Vie's head but La Vie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
La Vie is looking for the big counter here.
Gruff swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and La Vie counters with a three punch combo that has Gruff backing up. Gruff nods at La Vie to acknowledge the strikes.
Gruff throws a combination that misses
and La Vie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gruff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but La Vie circles away quickly and effectively.
Gruff throws a right and a left that La Vie avoids nicely.
Gruff misses with a two punch combination.
La Vie is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Gruff fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gruff bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps La Vie's head backwards.
Gruff swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and La Vie counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gruff throws a right and a left that La Vie avoids nicely.
Gruff misses with a double jab
and La Vie counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Gruff off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - La Vie follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Gruff was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sey La Vie!
