Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panopoulos throws a leg kick

and Scott counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Panopoulos!

Scott tries for a kimura but Panopoulos is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Scott works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Scott tries to advance to mount but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scott working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Scott tries to score with some ground and pound. Panopoulos controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
You can see the frustration on Panopoulos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Scott has hold of Panopoulos's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Panopoulos tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Scott cranks the arm and Panopoulos screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Panopoulos, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
