These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rasul Boqiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Triple Bow!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bow tries for a takedown but Boqiev circles away easily
and Boqiev counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boqiev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boqiev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bow.
Rasul Boqiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Triple Bow.
Bow takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boqiev moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rasul Boqiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boqiev catches Bow with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bow closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bow wants to clinch but Boqiev slips to the side
and Boqiev counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bow fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Boqiev.
Bow walks into a stiff left hand from Boqiev.

Boqiev drops Bow with a beautiful combination! Bow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Boqiev is looking for the KO!

Bow is rocked!

It looks like Triple Bow has been cut.
Bow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Boqiev counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Bow to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Boqiev!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rasul Boqiev!
A relieved looking Rasul Boqiev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
