Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bank Roll (ranked 4654 p4p, 3742 weight class) and Alda Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Love has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alda Love!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roll tries to close the distance and clinch up but Love swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Love looks winded!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Roll.
Love on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roll working the ground and pound.
Roll tries to advance to mount but can't.
Roll working the head and body with strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roll feints and as Love raises his hands in defense, Roll changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Roll is looking for a kimura but Love is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roll to get the leverage.

Roll wants to work for an arm triangle but Love is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Roll tries to land a front kick but Love steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Roll changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Love looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Roll is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Love is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

I wouldn't like to be where Love is right now.
Love is looking to regain half guard here but Roll keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Love's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Love can do anything to dispel that myth.
Love sneaks back into half guard.

Roll is keen to just control but Love is a slippery customer.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bank Roll dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Roll swings for the body but Love moves out of range.
Roll tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Love paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Roll feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Roll is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Love is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Roll is really struggling to control Love but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Love enables Roll to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Love manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Love looking for a guillotine here but Roll defends easily.

Roll stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Love swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bank Roll showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roll, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
