Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pester Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pester Goldman! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Goldman throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely. Silva dips to his left and cracks Goldman with an uppercut! Silva just misses with a punch to the body.
Silva throws a series of punches but Goldman avoids them all with ease. Goldman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Silva pushes Goldman off and gets back to his feet.
Goldman closes the distance and clinches. Goldman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Silva wants the takedown. Goldman is fighting it off but Silva persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Goldman's guard against the cage. Goldman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Goldman stops Silva from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goldman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Goldman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Goldman prevents Silva from getting back to his feet. Silva pushes Goldman off and gets back to his feet.
Goldman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like George Silva has been cut. Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Goldman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Silva is trying to stand up. Goldman content just to control the position here. Silva wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goldman trying to control but Silva is having none of it. Silva bucks Goldman off and manages to get back to his feet! Silva throws a push kick but Goldman slaps the foot to one side. Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Goldman sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Silva misses with a wild body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Goldman tries to clinch up. Goldman swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Goldman misses with a wild combination.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Goldman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goldman circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decent striking displayed by Goldman there. Goldman throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva. Goldman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Goldman avoids a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goldman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Goldman looks gassed! Silva looks to clinch and Goldman counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Silva wants to stand up but Goldman is controlling him. Silva trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Goldman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pester Goldman dominated that round. The cut man is working on George Silva's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Goldman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily. Goldman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva. Silva tries for a takedown but Goldman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silva throws a head kick that misses. Goldman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Silva throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. A combination from Silva does no damage. Silva misses with a takedown and Goldman counters with a takedown into side control. Goldman wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Silva pushes Goldman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Goldman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Goldman decides to stand back up. Goldman steps back and let's Silva get back to his feet. Silva throws a right hand that Goldman ducks under and follows up with a left that Goldman also avoids with ease. Silva cracks Goldman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva tries to clinch but Goldman moves out of range. Silva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Goldman backs up against the cage.
Silva with a poor takedown and Goldman counters with a nice body kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Silva. Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Goldman sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Goldman shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense. George Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva lands with an overhand left. Silva scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Silva throws a series of punches but Goldman avoids them all with ease. Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Goldman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Goldman tries to move into range but Silva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Goldman tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it. Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pester Goldman has got the better of the ground game so far. Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders Goldman to his feet. Silva throws a series of strikes that have Goldman backpedaling.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Goldman shows good takedown defense. Goldman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva fails with the takedown. Silva ducks right into an uppercut from Goldman. George Silva is winning the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Silva. A combination from Goldman does no damage. Silva works Goldman's body with a nice hook. Silva misses with a double jab.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goldman tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goldman to the ground. Goldman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silva looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva misses with a hook. Silva tries to clinch but Goldman moves out of range. Goldman takes the fight into the clinch. Silva prevents Goldman from breaking the clinch. Goldman wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Goldman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Goldman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Goldman slips nicely into half guard. Silva pushes Goldman off looking to stand but Goldman dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Pester Goldman will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on George Silva's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Silva fails with the takedown. Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Goldman's head. Silva shoots in for a double leg but Goldman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Silva avoids the head kick by Goldman.
Goldman swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Excellent takedown into side control there by Goldman. Silva tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Silva is squirming around, avoiding Goldman's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goldman controlling the position easily from mount. Goldman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape. Silva tries to buck Goldman off but he can't manage it. Goldman controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva bucks up and throws Goldman to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Silva cracks Goldman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Goldman lands a with a good body shot. Silva scores with a nice head shot. Goldman misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Goldman, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Goldman against the cage but Goldman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Silva. Silva tries to bum rush Goldman with a series of wild strikes but Goldman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva throws a combination. Goldman tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Goldman throws a right and a left that both miss. Silva tries for a takedown but Goldman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Goldman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Goldman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Silva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Goldman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Goldman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Goldman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Silva gets to his feet. Goldman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Silva throws the kick towards the body but Goldman avoids it. George Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Silva misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Goldman counters by moving into the clinch. Goldman gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Goldman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Silva wants to stand but Goldman is controlling his posture from full guard. Silva prevents Goldman from getting back to his feet. Silva gets to his feet. Goldman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Silva tries for a takedown but Goldman circles away easily and Goldman counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva wants to stand and escape but Goldman is having none of it. Silva keeping moving, preventing Goldman from controlling successfully. George Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pester Goldman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Goldman is sitting in close to Silva's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Goldman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Goldman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva.
