Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Hatter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sonny Barella!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barella rushes Hatter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hatter tries to land a knee to the head but Barella blocks with his arms.
Hatter manages to break the clinch.
Barella fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hatter lands a jab.
Barella tries for a takedown but Hatter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Good exchange - Hatter coming out on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hatter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Barella.
Barella connects with a nice looking jab.
That kick from Hatter tenderised Barella's leg. Barella is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hatter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Barella is rocked!
Barella fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mad Hatter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Barella.
Hatter closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Barella! Hatter dives in looking to finish! Barella is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mad Hatter!
