Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kambei Shimada!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimada works Ward's body with a nice hook.
Shimada lands an overhand right.
Ward gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ward closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Shimada lunges at Ward with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ward's hand.
Ward throws a combination that misses
and Shimada counters with a nice uppercut.
Ward misses with a takedown attempt
and Shimada counters with a nice right hand that sends Ward toppling to the canvas! Ward scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shimada finish him?!
Ward is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shimada moves in close and cracks Ward with a massive right hand! Ward, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Shimada!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kambei Shimada!
Kambei Shimada took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
