Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Johnson (ranked 6820 p4p, 5505 weight class) and Kiano Rivels (ranked 671 p4p, 594 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bradley Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kiano Rivels! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Eliza Hachem and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Rivels's shoulder, as Rivels tries to avoid the shot. Rivels lands with a slapping head kick. Rivels throws a head kick that misses. Johnson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've been told by Johnson's head coaches at MONEY TEAM!!! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Rivels takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rivels throws a leg kick which misses Johnson's front leg but catches the back leg as Johnson tries to avoid it. Johnson throws a body kick that misses. A lazy left from Johnson finds it's target. Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rivels throws a low kick but Johnson moves out of range easily. Rivels staying out of range there. Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson avoids the head kick by Rivels.
Johnson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Good work by Johnson as he checks the leg kick. Rivels looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rivels takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rivels defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivels slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. Johnson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rivels on the side of the head. Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice jab there from Johnson. Rivels shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rivels. Johnson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Rivels throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Johnson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rivels. Rivels circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Johnson misses with a wild combination.
Rivels finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rivels throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson throws a poor cross that misses
and Rivels counters with a thumping low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Rivels slips the punch. Rivels flicks out a counter leg kick but Johnson steps away. Rivels staying out of range there. Johnson checks a low kick from Rivels. Rivels pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and Rivels settles back down. Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Rivels counters with a low kick, right behind Johnson 's knee. Rivels looks to land a body kick but Johnson moved away. Rivels scores with a kick to the midsection. Rivels throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnson. Rivels moves out of range of the strikes. Johnson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bradley Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rivels moves away. Johnson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rivels makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson shoots in and drives through. Rivels sprawls well. Rivels only half commits to the counter leg kick. Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Johnson misses. Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rivels lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Rivels tries to land a leg kick but Johnson saw it coming and moves away.

and Rivels counters with a flying knee. Nice. Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Rivels fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Rivels moves away and avoids it. Rivels only half commits to the counter leg kick. Johnson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rivels.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson throws a hook but Rivels avoids it easily. Rivels only half commits to the counter leg kick. Johnson throws a hook but Rivels avoids it easily. Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rivels appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Rivels looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivels thows a leg kick but Johnson checks it letting Johnson counter with a right hand. Johnson clobbers Rivels with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rivels keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johnson. Johnson cracks Rivels with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rivels with a nice calf kick. Rivels avoids the body shot from Johnson.

Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Johnson looks to land a right hand but Rivels moved out of range. Rivels throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A punch combination from Johnson misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bradley Johnson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Johnson throws a series of punches but Rivels avoids them all with ease. Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Rivels with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut. Bradley Johnson is winning the standup battle so far. Johnson misses with a shot to the body and Rivels makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Johnson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Rivels fakes the leg kick and cracks Johnson in the body. Johnson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Rivels lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rivels counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Rivels throws a quick inside leg kick. Rivels buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rivels throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rivels lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Johnson is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Rivels Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Johnson is out cold, face down on the mat!
