Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bert McAlroy (ranked 2792 p4p, 3758 weight class) and Larry Down (ranked 349 p4p, 449 weight class). Down has chosen 17 Girls In A Row as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bert McAlroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Larry Down!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McAlroy finds it's way round the side to connect with Down's head.
Down tries to close the distance and clinch but McAlroy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Down bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McAlroy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McAlroy misses with a hook.
McAlroy throws a looping overhand right but Down ducks down to avoid it.
McAlroy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McAlroy swinging wildly here.
Down wants to counter with a clinch but McAlroy pushes him away.
McAlroy with a jab.
Down is rocked!
Nice defenses there by Down.
Down looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McAlroy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Down.
McAlroy throws a series of punches but Down moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Down moves into the clinch.
Down breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McAlroy misses with a body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Down looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Down gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Down wants to clinch
and McAlroy counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bert McAlroy!
In defeat, Larry Down stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good fight, hey can i ask your opinion? Take a look at deez beauty's. Do these look like cold sores to you? Seriously..'.
