Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lue Elizondo (ranked 4666 p4p, 4820 weight class) and Bakula Gorski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lue Elizondo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bakula Gorski! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gorski avoids the body shot from Elizondo.
Gorski misses with a takedown attempt - Elizondo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Gorski or perhaps it was just good defense by Elizondo, which made it look bad. Lue Elizondo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bakula Gorski. Elizondo throws a lazy right hand but Gorski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gorski avoids the body shot from Elizondo.
Gorski shoots and misses and Elizondo counters by moving into the clinch. Gorski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gorski jumps guard but Elizondo stands there with Gorski around his waist. Gorski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gorski tries to pull guard but Elizondo forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elizondo tries to score a body lock takedown but Gorski shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gorski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Elizondo to keep the fight standing. Gorski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorski has Elizondo pressed against the cage, preventing Elizondo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Elizondo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gorski is trying to pull guard but Elizondo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Gorski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Elizondo just stands there and leans against the cage. Gorski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Elizondo walks away with a smile on his face. Gorski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gorski has a takedown stuffed. Elizondo wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Gorski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gorski looks winded! Elizondo feints and as Gorski raises his hands in defense, Elizondo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Elizondo stays in close to Gorski's body and controls the position. Elizondo passes Gorski's left leg - he's now in half guard. Elizondo is looking for a kimura but Gorski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Elizondo to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elizondo working the head and body with strikes. Elizondo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gorski sees it coming and defends easily. Elizondo is looking to advance position but Gorski won't allow it. Elizondo is taking a breather. Gorski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Elizondo is going to stand back up.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Elizondo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Elizondo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Elizondo passes the guard and advances to mount! Elizondo content just to control the position here. Elizondo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Elizondo lands a nice shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lue Elizondo dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Elizondo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Elizondo throws a lazy right hand but Gorski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Elizondo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Elizondo wants it to stay on the feet. Elizondo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Elizondo controlling the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elizondo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elizondo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Elizondo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Elizondo drops an elbow to the side of Gorski's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Elizondo is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Gorski manages to get to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Elizondo throwing strikes from guard but Gorski blocks nicely. Elizondo tries to stand but Gorski is controlling from the bottom. Elizondo controls from within his opponent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gorski. Lue Elizondo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bakula Gorski. Gorski is breathing heavily. Elizondo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Elizondo loads up on a big right hand but Gorski slips the punch. Elizondo moves out of range of the strikes. The fighters circling - Elizondo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice defenses there by Gorski. Gorski drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Elizondo defends it well. Gorski shoots in looking for a takedown. Elizondo tries to sprawl out of it but Gorski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Elizondo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bakula Gorski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gorski shoots and misses and Elizondo moves into the clinch. Gorski is trying to pull guard but Elizondo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Gorski fails to pull guard.
Elizondo is trying to force a seperation but Gorski has the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Elizondo taking a breather. Gorski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Elizondo walks away with a smile on his face. Gorski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Elizondo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gorski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Elizondo throws out the jab. Elizondo misses with a double jab.
Gorski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Gorski slips under a jab. Elizondo moves into the clinch successfully.
Elizondo effectively controlling the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gorski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Elizondo just stands there and leans against the cage. Elizondo looks to throw an elbow but misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lue Elizondo dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Elizondo throws an overhand right that lands on Gorski's shoulder, as Gorski tries to avoid the shot. And Gorski tries to counter it with a takedown but Elizondo pushes his down on his head and steps out. Gorski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Elizondo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gorski manages to circle out of the way. Elizondo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gorski throws out the jab. Gorski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Gorski fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Elizondo to the ground. Gorski is now in Elizondo's guard. Elizondo controlling Gorski's posture. Elizondo controls Gorski momentarily but Gorski frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gorski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elizondo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gorski manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elizondo stands and throws Gorski's legs to the side, diving into side control. A lull in the action here. Lue Elizondo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Elizondo tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Gorski trying to remain calm as Elizondo controls from the top position. Elizondo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gorski some visible discomfort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Elizondo advances to full mount. Elizondo working Gorski over with strikes here. Elizondo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Further stalling from Elizondo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Elizondo landing strikes, looking to finish! Elizondo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gorski is trying to escape the mount.

And that's the end of the fight! Lue Elizondo showed his dominance in that final round. Well Elizondo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
