Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Krenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krenin comes into the arena with This is my head explodeing blaring out of the sound system. Bill Goldberg has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Krenin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Goldberg! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldberg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Krenin as he avoids it easily. Goldberg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Krenin.
Goldberg wants to clinch. Goldberg wants to clinch. A lazy left from Goldberg finds it's target. Goldberg fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Krenin with a poor takedown and Goldberg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krenin's guard. Goldberg wanted to stand there but Krenin had control of the position. Krenin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krenin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Goldberg passes into side control.
Krenin tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Goldberg easily slips into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goldberg lands with some strikes. Goldberg content just to control the position here. Goldberg lands a heavy elbow. Krenin is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krenin is in all sorts of trouble here.

Krenin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Goldberg looking to secure an arm triangle but Krenin defends it well. A nice elbow there by Goldberg. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Krenin tries to hold on but Goldberg pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Krenin is trying desperately to improve position. Goldberg lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Krenin has given up his back.
Krenin wants to escape the position.
Goldberg lands an elbow to the side of the head. Goldberg has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Krenin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krenin is covering up but some of the strikes from Goldberg are getting through and doing damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Goldberg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Goldberg tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Goldberg gets in close and instigates a clinch. Krenin tries for a takedown. No joy.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Goldberg wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Goldberg is pressed up against the cage. Krenin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Goldberg down to the mat. Goldberg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's one minute gone in the round. Goldberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Krenin sprawls well. He's pushed Goldberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bill Goldberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Goldberg shoots in and drives through. Krenin sprawls well. Krenin moves into the clinch. Krenin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Goldberg walks away with a smile on his face. Krenin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Goldberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Krenin tries to sprawl out of it but Goldberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Krenin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Goldberg looks for a takedown but Krenin sprawls well. Krenin shoots in for a double leg but Goldberg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Goldberg tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goldberg clinches up against the cage. Goldberg goes for a takedown attempt but Krenin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Krenin is trying to drag Goldberg to the mat but Goldberg just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Krenin has Goldberg pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Goldberg manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Goldberg is working for takedown but Krenin is calmly controlling the position for now. Goldberg struggles to land a body shot inside as Krenin controls his hands.

Goldberg seems keen to control Krenin's posture. Krenin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Goldberg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krenin is one step ahead there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goldberg can do anything to dispel that myth. Goldberg controls Krenin momentarily but Krenin frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Goldberg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krenin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Goldberg is pulling down on Krenin's head. It's preventing any offense from Krenin, at least for the moment. Goldberg has his foot on Krenin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krenin works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bill Goldberg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Goldberg gets control of Krenin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Goldberg will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Krenin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Goldberg wants to get back to his feet but Krenin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Krenin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Goldberg's head. Krenin throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Krenin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Krenin wants to control from the top but Goldberg keeps moving.

Goldberg has his hands on Krenin's head, controlling the position. Krenin throwing strikes but missing. Goldberg keeping moving, preventing Krenin from controlling successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Krenin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Goldberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Goldberg drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krenin struggling a bit here. Goldberg takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Krenin to pass into mount. Goldberg content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krenin is trying desperately to improve position. Mike Krenin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Goldberg sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Krenin working to try and regain half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bill Goldberg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Goldberg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
