Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Mfer (ranked 427 p4p, 339 weight class) and Matija Maestro (ranked 52 p4p, 44 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Maestro's choice of entrance music: Shortwire - Reconfig. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matija Maestro!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer's corner calls for a 1-2. Mfer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Maestro has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mfer throws a jab but it's blocked by Maestro.

A little jabbing left from Maestro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ispa Mfer.
