Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris George (ranked 22660 p4p, 23929 weight class) and Bo Mheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris George has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bo Mheng!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mheng takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

George darts in and clinches Mheng up against the cage.
George is trying to break the clinch but Mheng has him pressed against the cage.

Mheng gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, George regains guard.

George manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Mheng gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mheng seems to be looking for submissions.
George knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mheng on the ground.

Mheng is sneakily working for an arm triangle but George sees it coming and defends easily.
George is looking for a sweep. Mheng is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mheng is looking for a kimura but George is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mheng to get the leverage.

Mheng is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

George makes his way to full guard. A much better position for George.
George really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mheng drops back looking for a leg! George is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and George manages to kick Mheng off! Mheng jumps back into George's guard.

Mheng has gone for a leg lock! George slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mheng's guard.

George fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

George dives in and grabs Mheng's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mheng pushes down on George's head and hops out.

George tries to clinch up but Mheng circles away and keeps his distance.
George connects with a nice looking jab.

George rushes Mheng and presses him up against the cage.
Mheng drops down looking for an ankle pick but George pulls his leg out and moves away.

George shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mheng napping and manages to drive through into side control!

George decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mheng to his feet.
George shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mheng but Mheng pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mheng swings around for an armbar but George sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mheng's guard.

George got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mheng has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, George has managed to get both his arms back between Mheng's legs - danger averted.

George is landing with some decent strikes but Mheng is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

George throws a right hand that Mheng ducks under and follows up with a left that Mheng also avoids with ease.
George lands a really nice looking cross but Mheng seems unphased.
George shoots for a double leg takedown but Mheng sprawls well. He's pushed George's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
