Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between No Infection Purpose (ranked 5617 p4p, 4593 weight class) and Enrique Formiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Formiga has chosen Mount Everest - Labrinth as his entrance music. No Infection Purpose could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Enrique Formiga's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Formiga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Purpose looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Formiga is fending him off so far but Purpose persists. Nope, Formiga circles away and we're back to standing.
A countering left hand to the body from Formiga misses.
Purpose fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Purpose has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Formiga is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Purpose decides to pull guard.

Formiga gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Formiga gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Purpose tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Formiga's elbow.
Purpose tries to pull guard but Formiga holds him up against the cage and eventually Purpose drops back down to his feet.

Formiga gets control of Purpose's arms and successfully pulls guard. Formiga will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Formiga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Purpose gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Formiga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Purpose's guard.

Formiga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Formiga chips away with some ground and pound.

Formiga avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Purpose is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Formiga is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Formiga lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Formiga winds up and cracks Purpose with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Formiga takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Formiga lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Formiga pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
